Are you looking for a new challenge? Do you have skills, knowledge and ideas that you want to use to make a difference? Are you passionate about making a difference?

If the answer to these questions is “Yes!” then we may be what you are looking for.

Brocklewood Primary School is an exciting place to work with a large staff of friendly and hardworking people who are dedicated to making a difference to the lives of children and families from one of the most deprived areas in Nottingham.

The school became an academy in January 2015 as part of Transform Trust, a group of schools where we share good practice, ideas and workload and are willing to give new ideas a go. We are also active members of the Transform Teaching School Alliance. The school was inspected in September 2017 and is “good” in all areas. Recent staff surveys show that 100% of staff members are proud to work at Brocklewood “I love working with the children and such a supportive team of staff.” This is an exciting time to join our forward-thinking team and to help shape further improvements.

We are looking to recruit an excellent teacher to work alongside experienced colleagues. Brocklewood is very much a team and new members of staff are welcomed and supported through our well-established systems and exciting and innovative CPD opportunities.

Working at Brocklewood provides access to a variety of network events, CPD, coaching and mentoring opportunities and further career progression both within the school and within the Trust. If you are a recently qualified teacher you will be well supported in your early career with a dedicated mentor, PPA as a year group team and access to Transform NQT and RQT programmes.

The pupils are at the heart of all we do and we strongly believe that they should be provided with a variety of opportunities and experiences. In order to provide these opportunities we have the following:

  • Forest School on site
  • Artist in Residence
  • Community garden
  • Community art events
  • Nurture spaces and provision
  • Pastoral team and school counsellor
  • A wide variety of sports clubs, activities and events (we are the third most “active” school inNottingham.
  • Musical instrument lessons, we host area band and have a very active choir.
