School Improvement Support

School Improvement Support

Picture

Our highly experienced and talented team of school improvement specialists work with each of our member schools delivering bespoke and differentiated programmes to support improvement depending on individual need and circumstance. This will enable Headteachers and schools to secure the best resources to achieve the rate of progress needed.

We support this work with a number of professional networks aimed at sharing best practice and resources for all Key Stages and Subject areas as well as opportunities for aspiring leaders through our Year 6, Subject Leader and Deputy Headteacher networks.

Leaders have brought rapid improvement to teaching and learning since the school became an academy. Skilled leaders, including some from the trust, provide intensive coaching and mentoring to teaching staff. Staff have had many opportunities to develop their practice and contribute to whole-school improvement. Leaders have built these into teachers’ personal targets for development.

As a Headteacher new to the Trust, it is great to feel there is a wide network of support and guidance.

Headteacher

I have been given more encouragement, opportunity and support in the last 6 months than in the last 10 years of teaching.

Education is ever changing and working as part of the Trust means we are able to communicate and keep on top of the fast pace.
